Altrincham and Sale West MP Sir Graham Brady has given his backing to the ‘Wear it Pink’ campaign being run by the local charity Prevent Breast Cancer. He met with trustee Christine Lee Jones and Judi Hibbert from the charity to discuss the latest developments in breast cancer prevention and care. Sir Graham also caught up with plans for the charity’s Wear it Pink’ campaign which aims to turn Altrincham pink.
Prevent Breast Cancer raised £2million towards the building of the Nightingale Centre – Europe’s first purpose built breast cancer prevention centre.
Sir Graham said:
‘I don’t often wear a pink tutu, but Prevent Breast Cancer is such an excellent charity I was happy to put it on to back their campaign.’
